How to spend your time

How to spend time at
LAMP LIGHT BOOKS HOTEL

Day 1

15:00

Arrival at hotel and check-in

Traveling with a friend who loves books. We arrived at LAMP LIGHT BOOKS HOTEL, marked by the neon sign of the hotel logo!
The bookshelves visible through the glass make it feel like you're in a foreign bookstore. When you enter, you'll be greeted by the pleasant aroma of coffee.
You can check in by yourself at the terminal on the counter while watching people reading a book, sipping tea, or simply spending their time in the cafe.

Move to your room

The cute room with a book-shaped number plate is a superior twin room with a double bed and a loft bed on top. With the bunk beds we all dreamed of as kids, we all had fun deciding who would sleep on top.
As per the concept of "a room where you can immerse yourself in the world of books," the room is equipped with a relaxing sofa and a book light. It's like a space that feels like your own private study. Two books recommended by the hotel are displayed on the shelf, and the book covers accent the room like paintings.

Stroll around the hotel

Take a break in your room before going for a walk.
There are lots of fun spots around the hotel, including sweet shops, parks, and galleries.
If the weather is good, you can rent a bicycle from the hotel and go cycling.
Even if you want to travel a little further away, it's very convenient as the terminal stations are easily accessible.

  • Bicycle rental is a service offered at the Fukuoka store.

Take a break at LAMP LIGHT BOOKS CAFE

When you return from your stroll, relax at the cafe on the first floor of the hotel.
While flipping through the photo book, I ate a cookie with the hotel's original logo. The sweet drink soothed my tired body. I had a great time talking about books and travels with the customer next to me.

Dinner

For dinner, we went to a nearby restaurant. There are many attractive restaurants within walking distance, offering local cuisine and places to drink alcohol. After consulting with the hotel staff, we decided to visit a quiet restaurant that we found during our daytime stroll.

BOOKS TO GO

Using the "BOOKS TO GO" service, which allows you to bring books that interest you to your room, I chose a mystery novel and a travel essay, while my friend chose a picture book and a novel about food.
Feel the comfortable tranquility that permeates the room and embark on a journey through the world of books, enveloped in the light of the book lamp.
The Books Café on the first floor is open 24 hours a day, so the night continues.

The popular croissant sandwich for breakfast

I head to breakfast, still reminiscing about the book I read last night.
While consulting the guidebook in the cafe about your destination for the day, you can enjoy carefully selected coffee made from beans sourced from a local shop and a sandwich filled with plenty of fillings on a crisp, freshly baked croissant.

  • This is the menu for the Fukuoka store.

Check out

Time passed by in a flash, and I headed to check out, still wanting to read more books. I fell in love at first sight with the hotel's original mug, so I bought myself a souvenir.
Next time, I'll stay for a few nights and enjoy a reading week! I shared my travel memories on social media.
This is the place to visit when you want to escape from your busy daily routine and journey into the world of books.
